Trust Funds - Dealing With An Estate

What is a Trust Fund?

Trust funds are legally binding arrangements, defined by law, put in place by an individual wanting to create a continual benefit for another individual or body. Those appointed to administer the trust are known as Trustees and those benefiting are referred to as the Beneficiaries. A Declaration of Trust can include an extensive range of assets and along with money a trust fund may also include capital such as property, stocks, bonds or any other financial means. The assets are then held in Trust, with the established resources being released at the desired time, for example this might be on a specific date, or event such as the beneficiary turning 18 and becoming an adult.
